Returning, with some new ideas

So this hasn't been updated for a while, but it's not because I haven't been writing.  I've been working on my larger project (tentatively titled "Existence") and haven't been keeping up with my short stories.

In 2009 my plans for this blog are as follows:

• excerpts from "Existence"
• short stories and microfiction
• possible poetry
• starts or ends to stories I will write at some point, but may not get to or have time to work on right when I think about them
• and because I believe that improving at writing requires reading, books I've read and recommend (also possibly books I start, but end up detesting)
